Essay on learning the course of "All-stages meditation"

At the end of last year, I suddenly suffered from a rare acute renal failure caused by drug sensitivity, and was treated in Sunnybrook hospital for almost a month.  Fortunately, under the care of a group of excellent medical teams, my kidney function has improved to the level where I don’t need dialysis, and I can go home for recuperation, after all this tossing, I was liked walking through the gate of hell, my body became very weak.  Because of the diet, I have sudden weight loss and lack of energy.  Relatives and friends were very worried. Later, with the strong recommendation and encouragement of my close friend Ho May Yuk, I participated in the 66th session of "All-stages Meditation" class guided by Teacher Yeung Hung.

Before that, I didn't know anything about "All-stages meditation". I can't imagine that it seems ordinary at the beginning, but every time I meditate, the experience is completely different. It turns out that there is a set of extensive and profound philosophical theories behind it. Although the progress of learning is simple and easy to learn, it follows a set of rigorous and systematic methods, so the effect is supernatural.

I am not a good student! During this period of learning, I did not practice seriously and diligently, and because of my back disease, I could not sit for a long time. At the beginning, I could only meditate for 15 to 20 minutes each time. Even so, after three short months of intermittent practice, my body has gradually undergone slight but 100% positive changes! First of all, I feel that I am more energetic, my mind is clearer, I can move freely, and I can do more housework such as cleaning and cooking. Later, I can also drive alone to go shopping and have dinner with friends without completely relying on my husband! Although I still have to continue to control my diet, my weight loss has stopped. Daily life has almost returned to the rhythm before the illness. However, the biggest benefit should be the back pain, the back pain is reduced, and I can meditate for about 30 minutes. I used to rely on the girdle for support every day, but I don't know since when, I don't need it anymore! It's incredible!

Here, I really want to express my heartfelt thanks to Mr. Yeung! Thanks for his earnest teaching and care over the past few months! Not only did he lead me to learn a set of correct physical exercises step by step, but also explained many philosophical theories and Taoist thoughts, which benefited me a lot. What I respect the most is his selfless and selfless spirit of love! On the other hand, I also want to express my deep apologies to Mr. Yeung, and hope he can forgive me, an unqualified and lazy student, for failing to live up to his teachings and expectations!

After three months of practice, I am convinced that "All-stages meditation" is so correct and so effective for physical and mental health than other methods, such as various forms of Qigong! I also know that there are many aspects of "All-stages meditation" that I still need to learn, and I have not yet realized many of its benefits. I will continue to practice and hope to have more and better gains in the future!
